A new addition to the Bunker, Commandos 2 has the potential to be an awesome Lan experience. The game is played from a top-down perspective, and can be swivelled around at 90 degree angles. You take control of a group of commandos, each with personalized skills, and must skillfully negotiate the levels, many times using
stealth to complete objectives.
Points and rewards are given after each mission, more if you haven't killed
opponents, just tied them up and gagged them, which is much harder to accomplish
on the battlefield.
Multiplayer (the stuff that matters):
The big point to this game is not it's long length, but it's MULTIPLAYER CO-OP ability. The full single player campaign is open to multiplayer, allowing people to take control
of a single, or multiple commandos for the mission, bringing in teamplay elements
similar to H&D, and Rogue Spear, except from a top-down view.
From what we've
seen so far, it's a great game, with many challenging levels, cool music, and
of course, lots of Germans.
